International Children’s day at WTC Moscow

1 Jun 2022

On the first summer day, in the Atrium of Crowne Plaza Moscow WTC hotel there is a revival from the very morning, an unusually large number of colorful balloons, and a burst of children's laughter is heard throughout the complex.

On the 1st of June, children are the main guests of the WTC Moscow, and for a large team of adults it is extremely joyful and at the same time very responsible to accompany young clients on their exciting journey through the most hidden corners of the WTC complex.

It is not the first year that International Children's Day has been celebrated at WTC Moscow, and this time for the children of employees and tenants of WTC Moscow, as well as colleagues from the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a fascinating tour of the World Trade Center complex has been organized with a visit to services hidden from the eyes of customers that ensure the functioning of a huge multifunctional complex. Boys and girls have visited the premises of the server and central dispatching service, watched the functioning of the ventilation chambers and learned during a visit to the dry cleaners what makes linen and tablecloths dazzlingly white and fragrant. And, of course, we couldn't help but show our little guests the Presidential Suite – the pride of the Crowne Plaza Moscow WTC hotel and the panorama of Moscow from the height of the 20th floor of the hotel Club Building. Of particular interest was the story about the most famous and recognizable object in WTC Moscow - the famous clock with a golden cockerel "Russian Souvenir", the cockerel did not disappoint - at exactly 11 o’clock he crowed and showed a fabulous performance.

The excursion program was built taking into account the children’s age - the older ones were shown a little more, but the kids were waiting for an exciting program with animators, cartoons and coloring T-shirts that remained as a keepsake.

After the end of the tour, Mikhail Kuznetsov, brand chef of WTC Moscow restaurant complex, and Zaur Aliyev, Bar24 supervisor, gave a master class on making children's lemonade and showed how an ordinary cutlet with mashed potatoes can be turned into a funny owl. And, of course, there was a festive cake, which appeared strewn with berries and multi-colored macaroons, sparkling with lights.
