On the 1st of June, the exhibition industry celebrates its professional holiday - Global Exhibition Day (GED).
It was established at the initiative of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events IAEE in 2016.
The main goal of GED is to recognize the merits of industry professionals and the role of the exhibition industry in the development of global and national economies, promoting exhibitions as a key tool for developing trade and internationalization, an incentive for introducing innovations and maintaining the competitiveness of companies.
Every year on this day, a variety of online and offline events are held around the world by international and national organizers, exhibition centers, service providers, as well as national and regional associations.
World Exhibition Day (GED) recognizes the important role exhibitions play in the development of the global economy. The exhibition is the most effective marketing tool, especially for small and medium businesses. It is here that a platform for meaningful communication and establishing new contacts is created. This is face-to-face business.
