SOC-FORUM 2021 «Practice of countering cyberattacks and information security monitoring centers’ creation» is being held at World Trade Center Moscow.
These days, WTC Moscow Congress Center hosts one of the most anticipated and largest events in the field of information security - the VII annual SOC-Forum, dedicated to countering cyberattacks and information security monitoring centers’ creation.
The event is organized by the RF Federal Security Service and the RF Federal Service for Technical and Export Control with the official support of the Bank of Russia. The general partner is Rostelecom-Solar, and the operator is Avangard Media Group. The SOC- Forum 2021 сoncept is «Listen to. See. Put into Life!»
The Forum is attended by representatives of relevant RF ministries and bodies, social sphere, large corporations and the credit and financial organizations, educational institutions, leading players in the information security market, solution providers and the expert community.
Industry experts meet at the Forum to discuss current solutions in the information security market and look at the work of the Security Operations Center, listen to the best cases and practices of industry leaders, exchange experience with colleagues and opinions with leading experts, find out customer expectations, discuss new areas of cooperation. The main topics for discussion are the practice of building information security monitoring and incident management centers; issues of meeting the requirements for organizations-subjects of critical information infrastructure; the organization of interaction in the field of identifying and analyzing computer incidents; innovations in the technological base, scenarios for using and increasing the efficiency of monitoring centers.
Also, the participants can get acquainted with the advanced and most promising technologies for countering cyberattacks, detecting, responding and investigating information security incidents, which are presented in a large demonstration zone. The conference annually brings together over 2000 experts.
On the first day of the Forum, possibilities of interaction between Critical Information Infrastructure subjects and State system of detection, prevention and elimination of computer attacks’ consequences GosSOPKA, new realities in the industry from a regulatory and practical point of view, as well as the economics of cybersecurity, the structure and features of the darknet and other actual topics were considered.
The other day of the SOC Forum is dedicated to cybersecurity in the context of industries: the public sector, the financial sector, industry and fuel and energy complex. The participants of the event will also consider the technological trends of modern SOC and the best practices of cyber polygons. Within the frames of « The Anti plenary session», experts will talk about the possible future, motivation and new ideas both in industry and in profession.
In parallel with the rich business program, two-day cyber-training sessions are held at the SOC-Forum, in which 10 teams take part - representatives of the public sector, energy, banks, metallurgy and other industries. According to the legend, the action takes place in the future, where the world is captured by a new version of a computer virus. Operational teams of security guards land on infected facilities. Their goal is to stop the spread of the virus, giving humanity a chance to survive. There is also a parallel technical track dedicated to the use of Threat Intelligence, methods of detecting complex attacks and responding. What is mostly appreciated by professionals today is the practical orientation of the conference.
Last year, the online broadcast of the SOC Forum on various online platforms gathered more than 9000 participants.
